Arrrrghh. This is probably the coolest free show I have ever seen. Performed 6 times a night, this show is so realistic that you feel instantly transported to the 19th Cen. Caribbean or onto a Hollywood film set. You can actually feel the heat from the cannon fire during the fierce battle between the pirates and the British Royal Navy. As an extra bonus, ladies, the pirates are all very easy on the eyes. Makes you happy that they win!

Not to be outdone by the neighboring Mirage's erupting volcano, Treasure Island, (or TI) has a nightly pirate show outside the hotel. The show is put on several times a night. The show is being upgraded from a mere battle of pirates to one involving scantily clad women, hence the title "The Sirens of TI."

Treasure Island is a 2,885--room hotel and casino located on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada, USA and is connected by tram to The Mirage. The resort and casino opened in 1993 and originally intended to attract families with features such as a large video arcade and staged pirate battles nightly in "Siren's Cove" in front of the casino entrance on the Strip (Featuring the Sirens of Treasure Island free show, This show, taking place on a 4 football sized water filled field, brings the fantasy of Treasure Island where you can experience it up close. The show, a 12 minute story of Sirens luring men to their cove, makes use of music, dancing, singing and a high level of energy that brings you even closer to the action. The show runs four times a day, at 5:30, 7, 8:30 and 10 P.M.) another famous show here is Cirque De Soleil which cost $95. this hotel is evolving into the hot spot for adults in Las Vegas.

The jury is still out on Treasure Island's decision to pursue a trendy, younger crowd by nicknaming itself TI. Gone are the distinctive skull-and-crossbones outdoor sign and the indoor pirate theme. Fronting the resort is a huge body of water -- now called Siren's Cove instead of Buccaneer Bay -- that is the crux of the new TI. Instead of pirates and sailors duking it out, sexy sirens lure pirates into the cove in a kitschy show with pop music.

One of the things I enjoy doing is traveling to places such as "Spa Destinations" I have been to many, many Spas both expensive and ones that are not so expensive. Some of the better Spas in Las Vegas are: The Canyon Ranch at the Venetian (yes, the same Canyon Ranch in Tucson, AZ), The Spa at Bally's, The Hard Rock hotel, The Luxor and the Spa at Treasure Island. I recently enjoy the facilities at The Spa at the Treasure Island, they have state of the art gym equipment as well as a full women's spa and men's spa.

Prior to the appointment time, I went to the gym. I had no work out gear with me so the staff at Treasure Island was quick to offer shorts and a T-shirt. I got a 20 minutes session on the treadmill prior to my facial.

When I made the appointment there was very few little time slots to be had. I had the express mini facial, indivual lashes and a brow shaping (that is all there was time for.) The facialist, Lea had the BEST hands for facial massage. I thought about the quality of the Express facial and would I truely benefit from it? Yes I did as the facial was wonderful, I did not feel slighted at all.

Then, I went into the Spa and used the dry sauna, took a shower with quite the array of products and implements needed. Redken Shampoo, Conditioner, hair mousse, razors, body soap, lotion, listerine, q-tips, deodorant, hair dryers, curling irons. There was tea, coffee and fruit laid out for general consumption. Bathrobe and water shoes were provided as well as a locker to put your belongs in.

We have been in this casino several times and seem to have some pretty good luck when we did gamble. The Free live performance in front of the casino was pretty cool with huge live props such as a pirate ship that was very enjoyable.

Yet, I guess the times have changed and the casino thinks it needs to attract the younger crowds, well lets hope they are 21. It is called Sirens of TI® and begins with a 17th century clash between a group of beautiful, tempting sirens and a band of renegade pirates as stated on the web site. Ok, I was pretty content with the old pirate show instead of prancing women and hulky men who are supposedly doing battle…Yeah right whatever!

It is at least FREE to see, so why not. Located in front of Treasure Island Cove- nightly at 7:00 p.m., 8:30 p.m., 10:00 p.m., and 11:30 p.m.

When Treasure Island opened in 1993, its funky pirate theme was mostly geared towards kids in an effort to bring families to Las Vegas and open up a whole new market for the city. Soon enough, it became clear that Sin City would more or less always remain an adults playground, and in 2003 the hotel's "Buccaneer Bay" became the more sexy "Siren's Cove".

Two of the hotels attractions are quite famous. The first one is the Cirque du Soleil show "Mystere", the Cirque's first resident show in Vegas and still one of the most popular. The second one is the free "Sirens of T.I." show that takes place every night outside the hotel. Even though the show's storyline is pretty simple (a power struggle between a bunch of sirens and a bunch of pirates, guess who wins?!), it still gives a pretty good idea of what a Las Vegas show is all about: some pretty good special effects, a catchy soundtrack, some humor and plenty of sexy dancers. Of course, the fact that it's free makes it a very popular attraction so showing up about 30 min before showtime is a good idea if you want to grab a good spot. You can catch the "Sirens of T.I." at 5:30 pm, 7:00 pm, 8:30 pm and 10:00 pm.

Treasure Island hotel,is located just next to the Mirage hotel. Is a very good option if you are travelling with children aswell. There are a few very good live-actions shows.I recommend you to see that one:Sirens of TI Show, well this new show it is oriented just for adults, but children can have some fun seeing the others free shows in the hotel.

Another interesting option to stay specially if you are visiting Las Vegas with children,is the hotel CIRCUS CIRCUS,sorry but I don't have a picure of it!!.

Actually, I think since Treasure Island has changed its logo to "TI", they've also changed their pirate show to "The Sirens of TI". I've not seen this one, but being a free show right on Las Vegas Blvd I'd imagine that it must be family friendly too. Shows run from late afternoon to evening every hour and a half. (Check the website for actual times)

The Treasure Island Hotel and Casino is located on the Las Vegas Strip. The theme of this hotel is about pirates, ships, the sea, and treasures. There's a great show outside the entrance of this casino at night. Come early to reserve a spot as it can get pretty crowded with little space outside the casino. The show is great for kids.
