    The Palazzo part 2

part two of my the Palazzo tips with more pictures and a separate gambling part

Hey, why is the Palazzo not included in the things to do tips? attention tip editor of las vegas!

The Palazzo is one of the Main Things to do in the Las Vegas Area and is among the top 5 destinations in the Strip besides Wynn, Venetian, Bellagio and Ceasar's. It is the more upscale cousin of the Venetian and the Star of the Sands Gaming Corporation in Las Vegas. The palazzo is one of a few casino cum entertainment complex in Las vegas that features all suite rooms The 3,066 suites range from 720 square feet (nearly two times larger than the average Las Vegas hotel room) to 8,000 square feet. The Palazzo is opulence since the owners, the Sands Corporation spared no expense to set this up. But I still prefer their 7 star property at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore!!!!! it's more expensive there!!!

besides having a huge gaming area inside and luxe shops at the Shoppes at the Palazzo, the palazzo also has the Lavo Complex, the newest Night Club in Vegas to bee seen and also the Morel's Steakhouse and my personal favorite, Mario Battali's Carnevino Italian Steakhouse. The Palazzo is connected seamlessly to it's Sister, The Landmark, The Venetian.

Abraham Lincoln at the wax museum

by joiwatani Written Sep 23, 2011 1818 reviews

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Make sure that when you go to the museum that you have a lot of time. You can't just go inside and pay a whooping $16.00 fee and just go to the front and get out.

Also, when you are inside the museum, it gets really crowded. And, taking pictures get into the way sometimes. Just be patient. Some people take time in taking pictures. Some don't. You also have your turn.

Some visitors don't like it, some do take pictures. It's a free country! To pay $16.00, you must make the most of it...So, I took a lot of pictures!

The wax of popular actress Cameron Diaz

There are so many waxes at the Madam Tussaud's Museum that were molded into the likeness of popular actors and actresses, singers, musicians, sports stars, world leaders and even the astronauts.

The wax of popular actress Cameron Diaz is up at the front of the museum. Camero Diaz became popular from the Jim Carrey's movie, The Mask. She also appeared in the movie "Holiday" and was the voice of Fiona in the movie "The Shrek".

Getting married with star George Clooney

Have you watched Ocean's Eleven? What about Ocean's 13? Those are the movies where popular actor George Clooney acted as a crook, stealing millions of dollars at a casino here in Las Vegas!

So, there's a wax of him at the Madam Tussaud's museum at the Venetian Hotel. Once you get to his wax, make sure to find the wine bottle and the wedding dress and plastic bouquet.

Some of the tourists there don't know where they are. Make sure that if you like to have a picture of him in a wedding gown, find the gown first! Me and my sister just have fun taking pictures at the wax museum. We didn't mind those other tourists waiting. They have their own term, too.

    Picture with President Barack Obama

By the time that you are at the end of all the waxes of actors, actresses, singers, musicians, sports people, popular tv personalities, then there are waxes of presidents of the United States.

There is a photographer at the wax museum and she will ask you to pose with President Barack Obama in the imitated Presidential Oval Office.

If you take the picture, it will cost you $16 if you buy a keychain. This is one of the hotel's way of making money from visitors.

I bought a key chain with a picture of me and President Barack Obama and put it on a bunch of key chains of my car keys. However, after a few days of using that car key with President Obama on it, the plastic key chain broke and my picture of President Obama disappeared...

Make sure to seal the picture frame with glue or something before you use the key chain because it is ba-bye to your $16.00 keychain!
