    Encore Spa

While staying at the Encore, I wanted to explore the amenities the hotel had to offer. So I ventured to where the Spa is located. Decorated in an Oriental and Moroccan theme, the spa is opulent and glows in gold and silver tones. I have only been to one other spa, but this one looks absolutely gorgous. I am not surprised it was rated by Forbes as a Five Star award-winning spa. The young hostess was more than happy to give me a tour and I was very impressed with its amenities and tranquility.

The seating is very comfortable and very easy to get to your seats. They have a great snack bar to get treats.

This show is hard to explain, it involves water, diving, dancing, ballet, trapeze, ariel displays and your imagination. Excellent and very entertaining. You never know what is going to happen next. Photograph is not allowed, but you can before and after.

Located within the Wynn Resort is a free show called the Lake of Dreams, which shows every 30 minutes from 6-9 pm. The platform to see it best is by the Umbrella Bar patio. Sadly they had it closed off, so we watched behind glass doors. There is a hidden screen that comes alive with some very spectacular colors and music. There's a couple of restaurants you could watch the show too.

Encore at Wynn European Swimming Pool

by machomikemd Written Oct 5, 2011 5327 reviews
    entrance
    4 more images

Both the Wynn and Encore have separate European Style Swimming pools with jacuzzi and are restricted to hotel guests 21 and above so be sure to keep an ID ready. Unfortunately, I only went to the Encore European Pool and since no cameras are allowed inside, I took pictures of it from far away using my powerful optical zoom lens (thanks sony!). As with other european pools, topless for females is allowed here.

    according to the USA Today:

Encore European Pool at Encore at Wynn Las Vegas

Open: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily for Encore guests 21 and older from April through September; more limited hours in fall and winter.

Topless sunbathing: Yes during the day; not on the Sunday nights through Labor Day when partiers at XS nightclub can take swims, too.

Entrance fee: Guests only during the day, and it's free to them. Sunday nights, there's a nightclub cover charge of $20 for women and hotel guests, $30 for men, to swim. Locals get in free Sunday nights.

Cool pool amenity: An underwater ledge where poolgoers can sit and keep cool; gaming tables; and how many nightclubs let you take a dip?

Best for: Sophisticated adults during the day; upscale clubbers Sunday nights.

Part two of my Encore at Wynn Swimming Pool with more pictures.

The Encore at Wynn has 3 pools but only the main pool is open for any age since the nearby european pool is restricted for 21 years old and above since it is an optional topless pool (that is wjhy it is a european pool, right). I will do a separate tip for the european pool with stolen shots. The Encore pools at the Encore Beach Club are for the exlusive use of the VIP Tower Suite Guests or regular resort tower hotel guests who pay more for the entrance. the Encore main Pool is available for the regular resort tower guests of both the Wynn and Encore. The pools are open from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm everyday. You have to present a room key to enter. You can also rent a cabana for $ 250 the whole day if you want. after 9:00 pm, they become the XS Night Club.

    Wynn Las Vegas Swimming Pool

Like it's younger sister, the Encore, The Wynn Personifies excellence, privacy and subtleness as the vision of it's Founder, Mr. Las Vegas himself, Steve Wynn. Bellagio maybe eye candy, also the palazzo and venetian and aria but nothing beats Steve Wynn's Masterpiece the Wynn and encore such that the ones staying here are more of the Older and Genteel and very high spending set and that excellence extends to the Swimming Pools at the Wynn.

the Wynn has 3 pools but two are for the exlusive use of the VIP Tower Suite Guest while the main Pool is available for the regular resort tower guests of both the Wynn and Encore. Wynn's large main pool is dumbbell shaped with a very long narrow passage between the two large oval pools and are open from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm everyday. You have to present a room key to enter. You can also rent a cabana for $ 250 the whole day if you want.

    Encore at Wynn Las Vegas

The Encore at Wynn is the newer of the Wynn Complex and is the more upscale version, it has it's own Encore towers for the really High Net Worth People. the Encore at Wynn complex is geared for more privacy for the guests and has not the over the top opulence of the Bellagio or the Palazzo but that is what Steve Wynn Wanted, Elegant but not too Public so the Clientele here is more on the older set and the higher income set than the other vegas hotels. The rooms here are all suites like in the Bellagio but the decor in each room is Modern. According to Wikipedia: Encore has been awarded the AAA five diamond award. The Towers Suites at Encore and The Spa have received the Forbes five-star award in 2011. Encore Las Vegas and its sister property, Wynn Las Vegas collectively hold more Forbes five-star awards than any other casino-resort in the world and it is considered to be one of the finest hotels in the world. It also has the smallest gaming table and slot machines in Las Vegas which offers just one floor of Gaming 74,000-square-foot (6,900 m2).

    Wynn Las Vegas part 3

    inisde waterfall

This tip will be on the inside attractions of the Wynn which is Inside Waterfalls and around the Wynn.

The Wynn las Vegas, unlike the other Casino Complexes in Las Vegas, does not offer eye candy outside attractions, only a small waterfall beside the entrance to the wynn esplanade. The main motif here at the Wynn is privcy and exclusivity hence you must walk inside to enjoy the sights around the complex unlike in other areas where you just take pictures outside.

Like it's younger sister, the Encore, The Wynn Personifies excellence, privacy and subtleness as the vision of it's Founder, Mr. Las Vegas himself, Steve Wynn. Bellagio maybe eye candy, also the palazzo and venetian and aria but nothing beats Steve Wynn's Masterpiece the Wynn and encore such that the ones staying here are more of the Older and Genteel and very high spending set.

The artworks and design here are very subtle and very modern but the complex also has less people and is geared towards more privacy. The complex is only the Vegas Establishment with it's own country club and golf course. The resort has earned AAA five diamond, Mobil five-star, Forbes five-star, and Michelin five-star ratings, and is considered to be one of the finest hotels in the world. Wynn Las Vegas and its sister property Encore Las Vegas collectively hold more Forbes five-star awards than any other resort and casino in the world. They also have one of the smaller gambling table and slot machines of all of the strip.
