Everything In Las Vegas Is A Tourist Trap

by AmericanH Updated Feb 22, 2003

The Las Vegas Strip and The Downtown Area are setup to attract tourists. Once you get past the fact, that Las Vegas is a major tourist trap, you will find that it is designed to give you maximine pleasure for the amount of money you spend. It does not matter, if you are high roller or a family on a budget, this town will cater to your needs. There is something for everyone and you will have a great time spending money.

Unique Suggestions: Casino souvenir coins are my 1 tourist trap weakness. You can buy them at the casino change booth for their face value of $10.00 or you can try to win 1 out of the slot machine. I always opt for the slot. So far my luck has held out and I usally only spend around $7.00 per coin. The 1 exception was at The Golden Gate Casino. I am in for over $40.00 and still do not have a coin from there. The floor guy kept telling me to just go buy 1 from the change boooth, but I would not listen.
