Bus / Shuttles: Bus ride available on the strip
Think the whole day pass for the bus ride is around $5... it is an easy way to get around the strip, going from hotel to hotel.. ... we didn't take the bus ride as we prefer to visit those hotels on the strip by foot :P

    Bus / Shuttles: The DEUCE
To get around in Vegas if you do not plan to walk you might want to catch the DEUCE. It is the nicest bus I have ever ridden on. It is double deckers bus the runs from downtown Vegas all the way up the strip. It runs every 6 minutes during the day and every 12 minutes at night. The driver gives all necessary stops with information about each stop. The cost of the DEUCE is $2.00 per trip or a $5.00 pass that allows you to ride for 24 hours (it also works on the other local busses

Bus / Shuttles: Bus Routes 301 and 302
Traffic moves slowly on the Las Vegas Strip, whenever you travel, and in whichever direction. You can use taxis (and pay for the time spent in the cab as well as the distance travelled) or you can use the CAT bus system, paying only for the distance travelled (at $2 a ride). OK, so you may have to stand, and it gets a bit hot and sticky, but it is a useful means of transport in the city.

Bus / Shuttles: Vegas Bus on the Strip
Walking is easy in Vegas, but there is alot. The strip is about 10 miles long, so be prepared. They have double decker buses (the Deuce) that are conveniently located all along the strip and run 24/7. However, they are always making stops. They cram as many people in as they can, so you are like sardines. It took us 1.5 hours to travel from Freemont Place to Mandalay bay, 10 miles, in the late evening. We took the bus from mid way on the strip to the bus terminal to switch busses, that was 1.5 hours, then 1 more hour to travel from downtown to Hard Rock Cafe. Thats when we got wise to take a cab for shorter distances. If you have the time and patience, the bus works fine.

Bus / Shuttles: Not Just for London anymore.....The DEUCE
We now have double decker bussed similar to those found in London. Except ours are totally enclosed, and gold not red. After all, you really wouldn't want to be stuck on the upper level of an open air double decker in the middle of July when the temp is hovering around 115 degrees....would you?
The DEUCE runs the length of the resort corridor, otherwise known as The Strip. From the Downtown Transportation Center/DCT to the South Side Transportation Center/ SSTC. Fare are $2 one way, or you can purchase a $5 all access pass. the pass is valid for 24 hours and also good on any CAT bus or Maxx Bus.
So, Get off your feet and jump on the DEUCE, try for that upper level front seat for the best view of the strip.

    Bus / Shuttles: deuce
the deuce is a double decker bus the cost is 2 for the strip and 1.50 off the strip.
If you want to go from one part of the strip to the other part then look for the sign on the bus that either says south strip or north strip. The drivers are very helpful and patient. During 5pm till 7pm more buses are placed on the road but they can still packup pretty quickly.

If you are staying at a midstrip hotel there really is little need for buying passes. However if you wish to go to the southernmost part of the strip or to the outlets than you may want to look into it.

you can buy 24 hours pass for 5 US$ to go in all Las vegas Blvd (strip), until near the airport,
if you are walking in the strip and you get tired , you can switch to the bus, usualy it's frequent.

I think this pass can also be used for other bus in the city.

Bus / Shuttles: Tired of Walking Take the Trolley
If you get tired of walking the Las Vegas Strip Trolley runs up the strip. It starts at the Tropicana with stops at all the major casinos and up town to Fremont Street. It also takes you to the Las Vegas Hilton & Convention Center. It costs $1.50 (exact change please). That's not free, but much cheaper than a cab or renting a car.

    It runs 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. everyday every 15 minutes.
