Favorite thing: North Conway has an Inn, where Christmas found a year-round home.
This is one of the oldest Country Inns in New England. It opened in 1863

Great view of North Conway Valley

Favorite thing: Just behind the fence is a steep ledge where rock-climbers try to conquer the rocks.

Fondest memory: The mountains are breath-taking. From here you can see the White Mountains. The town of Conway lays below. In the distance you can see ski-slopes they are very busy in the winter.

Favorite thing: A mountain with a gigantic rock ledge called 'White Horse Ledge'
The Indians thought of it quite special.
When the sun shines on it and you look closely ,
you can see a large white horse image on the stone.

Fondest memory: We had an exchange student from Italy with us.
We went to Cathedral Ledge where you have a beautiful view over the mountains and the valley.
The Town of North Conway sits nestled between the trees below.

Snowy Main Street

Favorite thing: North Conway has the looks and the charm of the olden days . And at the same time, the outlet stores are filled with the latest fashon and designer clothes.

Getting to Conway is easy: From the South take i-93 north to exit 32 in Lincoln, and head east on Route 112, the Kancamagus Highway, known also as the 'Kank'
This 34-mile scenic byway is one of the most breathtaking routes in this erea. It runs right through the middle of the White Mountain National Forest.
Stop and see Rocky Gorge , about 26 miles east, a bridge over the loud falls to a footpath around Falls Pond.
The Kank is known for many moose-sightings, especially at dawn, dusk or night. The ' Moose Warning ' signs are not a joke.

Fondest memory: The quaint little stores with their unique treasures.
The Conway Scenic Railway.
Visiting Story Land with our children.
