The mills as shown across from the Merrimac river. The mills used as various factories to produce such things as cotton and shoes. Now the mills have lofts, apartmens, adn other businesses.

John Stark Park
John Stark was NH's own American Revolution war hero. We was a very succesful general who was one step ahead of the enemy. In New Englad we love our revolutionary figures!
This picture is of the Amoskeag Millyards and Merrimack River. On this side of the river is New Hampshire Heritage Trail which is a great place to hike, mountain bike, kyak, fish, or simply walk.
Every year in manchester for the 4th of juky they have river fest downtown. There are fireworks and lots of festive fun. People gather all around downtown to go see the the festival.
