Pizza and subs, straight up, nothing fancy, but dang tasty. This establishment has provided consistently yummy pizza over the past 30+ years. There's no delivery, but they do a good takeout business. Limited seating.
Parkers Maple Barn is a family business that has operated since the 1960s. It started with a sugar shack along a rural road, and has grown into a popular country restaurant serving down home breakfasts and lunches. It has a gift shop that sells a variety of maple products along with other knickknacks like gift baskets and maple syrup tins. The on-site sugar shack produces maple syrup using the traditional wood-fired evaporators.
Parkers Maple Barn is housed in a 19th century dairy barn warmed by wood burning stoves and decorated with antiques. The tap their own maple trees for the syrup the customers enjoy on their meals. Meals include huge buttermilk pancakes and unique maple-glazed baby back ribs, along with all the regular American sides like eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, cinnamon rolls, and even maple coffee. Portions here tend to be huge and the service very friendly. Meals are $5 to $15. Interestingly enough, they don't serve alcohol, but you are welcome to bring your own!
After breakfast, take a tour of the syrup refinery in the Sugar House next door (in operation during March and April only), then check out the country crafts and maple products at the gift shop.
Parkers Maple Barn is open Valentines Day until the weekend before Christmas.

No no no! This is a Brewery/restaurant. This place is very much centrally located with outdoor seating..perfect spot to drink beer (maybe) but the food is not remarkable. If you're already in Main Street, walk further and you'll find Surf or Michael Timothy's restaurant OR turn around, walk a little and you'll find San Francisco kitchen. Across the street from SFK is Vietnamese Noodle House.
Favorite Dish: NOTHING! It's a great spot to sit outdoors and have a cup of coffee that's it! If you're a beer drink then maybe you will enjoy this place.
Great seafood in Nashua area. Outdoor seating is available on warm season. Wait staff are well trained and knows their menu really well. On weekends, they have a pianist for entertainment giving the restaurant a "lounge" ambiance.
Favorite Dish: Sesame Seared Tuna - oh lala it's above and beyond description. Try it!
By NH standards, this place is pretty decent. If you are a martini lover, visit this place. About $8 per glass and they have a good list of martinis.
Favorite Dish: I am not a drinker but I come here for the ambiance. They renovated this place to give us the NYC feel. If you are the designated driver, well that's too bad but try to enjoy their dessert. It's a small menu but really really good...crepe, tiramisu, arghghg i dont' remember. It's all about the presentation too but their stuff is good.
Martha's has a wonderful variety of food from standard burgers and steaks, to seafood, Cajun food, and Mexican. Their prices are a little higher than average, so be prepared to spend a little. Appetizers include hot wings, chicken fingers, and quesadillas along with some tapas items ranging from $7 to $10. They have a good selection of burgers, sandwiches, and paninis all under $10. Entrees range in price from about $9 to $20 and include seafood, steaks, chicken lamb and pasta in a variety of ways.
They also have an excellent variety of beers that are brewed on site. They cycle through about 25 regular and seasonal beers throughout the year, including a great German-style altbier, good stout and red ale, a Belgian white, and a Hefeweizen.
According to bartender legend, the handcrafted wood bar was originally the interior of a Chicago bar owned by none other than Al Capone! There is also the interior of an old bank (including bullet holes) that Al Capone is said to have robbed in Chicago.
Martha's Sweet Shoppe used to be on this location dating back to the 1940s. The owners changed this building into a modern brewpub, but maintained a small candy counter in the corner to recognize the history!
The restaurant opened in 1989 in Nashua's Merchant's Exchange building that dates back to 1872. The microbrewery was added in 1993 during an expansion and has been one of the main draws ever since.
Villa Banca is easily the best and classiest Italian restaurant in Nashua. Established on Main Street in Nashua, Villa Banca has a mix of simple classical Italian with a smattering of modern dishes. This was a place I always felt like I could get Boston's North End Italian food without having to drive the hour or two into downtown Boston. Its name derives from the former bank building, complete with late night deposit out front, that it now occupies.
Fridays and Saturdays they feature a strolling violinist and accordion player during dinner from 7-11 pm.
In 2005 Villa Banca earned honors from Hippo Press for having both Best Italian Restaurant and Best Restrooms in Nashua.
Customers can watch the owner and Master Roaster Yalcin Kaya roast small batches of the beans right in the middle of the coffee shop. The 25-pound roaster permeates the delicious coffee bean smell that makes first-time drinkers into regulars at Riverwalk.
The restaurant is a quiet, cozy place to enjoy a quick lunch or a nice romantic dinner. During summer one can sit out as well and enjoy the sunshine while eating or drinking. The staff is helpful and despite its upscale look don't hesitate to ask if you need something or if you don't want your pasta minus the mushrooms. They will accomodate you readily :-) oh, and I almost forgot the live JAZZ on friday and saturday nights. Its ambiance is quite eclectic. Reservations recommended.
Only if you are into scotch or single malts from the Scottish highlands, then ask for the main bar men for help. ;-)
Favorite Dish: Most of it its good. But I really enjoyed the Sautéed Escargot & Shrimp and the chicken vesuvio and on another occasion the roasted halibut. Its just very fresh and delicately prepared.
Ninety Nine Restaurant is easily the best chain restaurant in New England. Similar to a TGI Fridays or Chiles, without the pretentious attitude or expense, Ninety Nine has great New England food at superb prices. They all have a friendly, small-town pub feel, with high-quality food, friendly staff, and best of all...cold Sam Adams. My favorite dishes are the local specialties such as the baked scrod, seafood combo platter and clam chowder, but I've always enjoyed their steaks, sandwiches, and other seafood options, along with the delicious hot wings.
The first Ninety Nine was opened in Boston by Charlie Doe in 1952, long before the idea of casual dining became popular. Ninety Nine is located primarily in New England, but also has several restaurants in eastern New York, plus a handful in southeastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey. There are a total of about 120 Ninety Nine Restaurants.
Food is good, and good selection of beers on draught.
Tables are small. We went midday on a Sunday and it was fairly quiet. I think this may turn out to be the new nightspot in Nashua, though.
Favorite Dish: We had the bangers as an appetizer. Yummy. My chicken salad wrap was excellent.
B & B Cattlemans Roast Beef (was Bill and Bob's)
Part take-out, part bar. Definitely a hole in the wall. You probably wouldn't find this on your own. It is near Margarita's, though, which has become quite the hot spot. So if you can get directions there, you will find Cattleman's. Just don't park in the Dunkin Donuts parking lot. I did, on the far side, away from the DD, and my car was towed in a record 15 minutes!
Favorite Dish: Onion rings! No joke, they are the best I've ever had. Plus, their specialty, roast beef sandwiches, are great.
We've been to Martha's three times now, and on our return visits the place has won out over other options because of the food and the beer. It's a cliche, but a brewpub is only as good as its beer, and Martha's consistently produces a couple of brews worth coming back for. When we were there recently, their Dark Rosaleen Stout and Spy Rye Pale both made our visit worthwhile.
Favorite Dish: We've mostly stuck with sandwiches, and they are very good: pub fare, to be sure, but well-made and very fresh, and what's to complain about?
One warning: I tried the jambalaya once and it attempted to kill me with excessive. I never leave a dish unfinished, but this defeated me. I'm hoping the lid fell off the chili jar that night, but I haven't dared to try it again!
Apparently Martha's was once a candy shop that somehow morphed into a brew pub. It has a large inside dining area and on good days a few tables on the sidewalk (highly recomended!) Their beers are pretty good and the food was standard pub fare, but good. The waitress was excellent and I would definately go back.

Great for Sandwiches, but also the salads and soups are delicous.
We had them catering for a company lunch and it was just perfect, and everybody liked it a lot.
Most of there locations have free WiFi, another thing modern people like...
