There's a yearly fee of $10 for a residence sticker if you live in Weare. I didn't find out the price to park and swim, fish or boat for the day, but I'm sure it's only a few dollars around here.

This isn't really a restaurant but the American Legion Post #65. They give a wonderful breakfast every Sunday morning thru the Summer. We each order 2 eggs, bacon or sausage, toast, juice, and coffee for only $3.50. Only $17.50 for 5 people ... now where can you buy breakfast that cheap?
Seating is family style ... you sit at a long table with other residents or if you're in a large group like us, you get your own table. But meeting new people is always nice, so we never mind sitting with others!

I'll bet every town in America has a Bingo Night somewhere in town. I've never been myself, but it's very popular with the locals.
Dress Code: Casual.

Fly into Manchester Airport or drive. Once you're here there's no way around without a car. Well if you're downtown Manchester, there is a bus system, but if you want to see everything, you need a car.
Now this car would be a nice one to ride around in don't you think? It's not mine tho! Too bad.

Winding roads go thru here and you shouldn't take them too fast. Also, watch out during the Summer for motorcycles. They are very popular in New Hampshire.
And LOOK OUT for these two guys ... bad dudes!

When you venture forth anywhere in New Hampshire, pack a picnic basket first. Get away from the fast food places and as you travel the country roads of New Hampshire, you'll find plenty of places to sit and eat a picnic lunch along the way. Even if you just pack some snack & drinks, it's relaxing to eat by the water's edge and dream away the day!

Lots of good fishing anywhere in New Hampshire. Weare and surrounding towns all have lakes, reservoirs, rivers or brooks for fresh water fishing.
Equipment: Your fishing gear! And don't forget the mosquito repellent ... they can get pretty furious around here!
Hiking boots and flashlight ... but don't get caught in the woods at night ... NO STREET LIGHTS in the woods. All fishermen know that, right?

Favorite thing: Seek out the lakes in the area which are quit a few really. For example; Lake Horace, Everett Lake, Daniels Lake, Perkins Pond, Mount William Pond and Ferrin Pond.
Fondest memory: Vacationing every year at a time share cottage on Lake Horace. The kids played horse shoes, volley ball, swam and learned to water ski here. My favorite activity then was to bring some good books, sit on the beach under an umbrella or the trees and read. If it rained ... I read inside or on the porch of course. The kids went to the indoor pool with their Dad. What a relaxing week!
