Red Square is a Russian-themed restaurant specializing in caviar and vodka (though for quite the price). Located inside the Tropicana Resort, the restaurant is more high-scale than some of the choices in the same area.
Although expensive, you are certainly paying for great service and amazing food. The menu consists of a variety of meat and seafood dishes. I had a salmon dinner that was wonderfully tender. About seven different caviars are offered, from the $300+ Beluga to the more manageable salmon and trout roe. Aside from the extensive wine menu is the vodka and martini menu.
The atmosphere is RED...as in red-tinted lighting, wall color and furniture. The best part, though, has to be the bar. A true ice bar, half of the serving area is actually ice. You definitely don't need to worry about your drinks getting warm as you sip. Two large ice pillars also act as focal points int he lunge area of the restaurant.
Chocolate cake for dessert. The cake is made with a gooey center of dark chocolate and served with vanilla ice cream and strawberries.

hoagie, but whatever the name, this is where to
get one.
Now in it's 60th year (1946 - 2006) this location
has served over 25 million subs to locals, and to
the stars.
It is best to get there early before the lunch hour
rush hits. We got there at about 10:45 ....

The Metropolitan is located at the Borgata Casino and is open 24 hours a day serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with a really nice full bar, seafood bar and a dessert case with yummy treats.
My girlfriends were staying at the Water Club and we were staying at Harrah's and decided to meet here for some breakfast before us girls went out to do some shopping leaving Ferni to continue playing the tables.
The restaurant is quite nice, with the Parisian feel of dark wood with three sections. There is an area in front of the restaurant where you can sit under some umbrellas and watch people walk by, there is an area where the bar is with some really nice tables and booths and then, behind a large sliding door there is another dining are where we were seated. The restaurant is quite large and we did not have to wait to be seated. My friends asked that we go ahead and be seated and start breakfast as they were running late, so we were taken to the back and our waiter brought over the menus, asked if we wanted water and coffee and left to come back to take our order.
We looked over the menu and I instantly knew I had to try the French Toast Swirl Banana Fosters, with a side of home fries (love my potatoes), Ferni decided on steak and eggs, his eggs scrambled.
The food was so delicious and I would definitely come back for either breakfast or even lunch or dinner.
I ordered the French Toast Swirl Banana Fosters which are three french toasts with cinnamon swirl topped with bananas...it was so yummy and way too much food for me, so Alice decided to share with me!! Ferni had the steak and scrambled eggs and he said his steak was okay, nothing to rave about!
