the main shopping and Dining Area of Tropicana besides the Marketplace and the Boardwalk but is less luxurious than the Pier Shops at Cesars. The Quarter again is the main Shopping and Dining Area of Tropicana Hotel and leads directly to the Casinos hehehe. The ambiance here is latin american inspired, particularly cuban and patterned after old havana in cuba and has a big fountain in the middle of a plaza. There area about 30 shops including Chico’s, White House/Black Market, Swarovski, Tinder Box/Vino 100, Jake’s Dog House, Houdini’s Magic Shop, Chez Lingerie and many more. Enjoy a fine dining experience at one of more than 20 restaurants such as Carmine’s, Cuba Libre, Red Square, Verdi, PF Changs and Starbucks.
Opens: 24 hour a day
the tropicana is a huge intergrated gambling complex along the boardwalk and extends into atlantic avenue and beside having a huge gambling hall, it has a large area for for a mall, called the quarter. The Mall will have a separate tip for the shopping part and hooters have a separate night life tip. Not being content with gambling at the Harrah's Group and Trump Group and although we stayed at Bally's, going to the tropicana is a must since it is not part part of Ceasar's Entertainment Group and also I'm a diamond club member. The Tropicana is one of the largest hotels in New Jersey with 2,129 rooms. Tropicana has over 3,000 slot machines and 135 table games and has a separate Asian Gaming pit as we all know that the high rollers in the Casinos are Asians and Asian Americans and they are not into the nickel and dime stuff of slot machines.
Gambeling sure is fun, but loosing money is not. I usually go to the Tropicana to go out to eat, in their many different resturants, such as : PF CHANGS, RED SQUARE, CARMINES, etc.. the shops there are amazing, anything from cliche to white house black market to the spy store then stores dedicated to puppies! you'll find swarski crystals and spa's, anything you could imagine! but instead of throwing your money away in the slots.. why not toss some change over your hsoulder in teh fountain, located directly infront of the gambeling floor enterence!
