The Trump Taj Mahal in has one of the largest poker rooms in Atlantic City, second in size only to The Borgata which is also owned by Donald Trump and is nearby to my hotel in Ballys. among it's features are:
1)$14 million worth of German crystal chandeliers, including 245,000 piece chandeliers in the casino
alone, each valued at a cost of $250,000, and taking over 20 hours to hang
2)The Trump TAJ Mahal covers over 17 acres of prime Boardwalk real estate with 4.2 million square
feet of enclosed space and the main hotel lobby desk is 115-feet long with 15 separate check-in stations.
3) Seven two-ton elephants of carved stone greet visitors of the Trump TAJ Mahal
4) A city within a city, the world's most elegant and expansive themed suites with magnificent
ocean views, individual spas, butler service and the private, bi-level Maharajah Club for
intimate gatherings, light dining, reading and relaxation. From the 51st floor, at 429 feet
above sea level, you are standing atop one of the tallest man-made structures in New Jersey.
5) 75 regular gaming tables and 14 tournament tables plus hundreds of slot machines

Lots of visitors come and go! I noticed that some people stay the whole night at the gaming maschines. Luxurious accomodations! The chandeliers are lovely! Great place!

The Trump Taj Mahal is Atlantic City's second newest casino-hotel and is one of my personal favorites. The hotel has an Inidan-typed Taj-Mahal Theme and is one of the largest casinos in Atlantic City. Inside is world-class gaming, shopping, dining, and lodging, and a visit to Atlantic City is not complete without visiting. There are restaurants featuring foods from virtually every corner of the world (although very expensive)!! The Taj also features great exclusive and mainline concerts and shows in its many ballrooms.
The 156,984 square foot casino features 4,826 slots and 143 table games.
Table games at the Taj:
Baccarat
Blackjack Caribbean Stud Poker
Craps
Let it Ride
Mini-Baccarat
Pai Gow Poker
Pai Gow Tiles
Poker- 68 tables
Red Dog
Roulette
Sic Bo
I could list this tip under Nightlife, restaurants and most other categories.
Just go there, take in the faux glamour. Remember that this is not real stuff.
You see people here around night or day. Either they are at the gaming maschine, restaurants or outside at the boradwalk.
By far the tackiest of all the casinos here, it is all decked out in pink, purple and gold. It's truly a sight.
