Excellent food, great place to take the family; good prices and excellent service. Maybe not the perfect spot for a romantic dinner, as it can be a little loud in the small, boxy space, but terrific for a night out on the town or just for a really good meal. I eat here frequently and I've never had a bad experience.
Favorite Dish: Try something on the specials list! They always do great daily specials here, but if nothing appeals from that then definitely go for the blue-corn crab cakes. These are pan fried, lump crab cakes coated in a crust of crushed blue-corn tortilla chips. Ole!

This place is the worst tourist trap of all at the Jersey shore. Bad service, horrible management, over-priced, mediocre food, you name it, they've got it. Entree prices start at $18 USD and everything is ala carte. Side dishes are $4 USD. The place was recently renovated and looks beautiful but it's all only skin deep. Stay away from this place and go to somewhere in town like Tortilla Flats where the food is excellent, reasonably priced and where they treat you like a human being, not like cattle to be herded in and milked of your money.

Unique Suggestions: Drink lots of beer at the bar.
Fun Alternatives: Go to Tortilla Flats up the street. It's a better restaurant and the service is excellent.

Favorite thing: Make sure to check out the local library while you are there. They have 18 public computers and Internet access free to the public. You can purchase a card for $20.00 to check out DVDs (they have all the latest releases, and there is no video store on the island), books, CDs and magazines. There are special programs for children and storytime twice a week, plus lots of programs for adults, too. Get a copy of the newsletter and see what's going on while you're in town!
