The Visitor Center has complimentary brochures that show various attractions in the Cape May area.

While you are here, pick up THIS WEEK IN CAPE MAY event booklet which has everything going on in the town including restaurant and accommodations information. This is free and a big help when you are trying to decide what to do first. It lists Theme Weekend events, Tours, and upcoming features. It also provides some coupons to use with stores at the Washington Mall. NOTE: a favorite coupon gives $1 off at the fudge shop.

There are restrooms here, as well as, complimentary phones to call for Cape May accommodations.

This is our favorite place to play mini golf--Cape May Mini Golf (315 Jackson Street) They give you a coupon to use on a return visit for a child's admission. We love this course--it's fun and challenging, but not frustrating.

This particular course is pleasantly located, not like some which are jammed in between the hotels, etc. The hours are 10:30 am-10:30 pm in the summer. Cocomoes is an ice cream parlor located here which is opened 11am-11 pm seasonally.

Other mini-golf courses are Stockton Golf and Ocean Putt Golf, which are along Beach Avenue across from the ocean.

Washington Street Mall is a three block concourse lined with restaurants and shops. It is the most successful outdoor pedestrian Mall in the nation.

Most of the restaurants and shops are open year-round with limited hours off-season. If you visit Cape May, you will find yourself at the "mall" many times.

Lots of fun shops to explore including a huge Christmas shop. The restaurants we went to were okay (see reviews). My three favorite places were Kohr Brother's Frozen custard, The Original Fudge Kitchen, and Fralinger's Salt Water Taffy. :-)

We were fortunate to visit off-season so the mall was not crowded. I can't imagine how crowded it would be - and how long the waits at restaurants would be - during the peak of summer!
