Favorite thing: The Hunterdon Historic Museum, which is located on the banks of the Raritan River, is shown in many pictures promoting New Jersey. The museum is in tribute to the local surrounding area. But the scenery outside is really great.

Favorite thing: Visit the Hunterdon Historical Museum in the 'Red Mill'. The museum contain exibits of early agriculture in Hunterdon County. The 'Red Mill' itself used to be an gristmill. One of the most photographed sites in the state. If you walk across the iron bridge to the other side of the river you will see the Stone Mill, now an art museum(the gift shop inside is worth a look).
