This place is off the beaten path! Located in Turntable Junction, it is not seen from a car. They have dessert crepes, breakfast crepes and dinner crepes. Dinner crepes come with a small but very fresh salad with a citrus dressing which is very good.
Favorite Dish: The Cream of Mushroom soup is the greatest! My advice is to get a dinner crepe and then get a dessert crepe to share! The coffee is good as well.

At first glance I thought that this place was a vegetarian place due to the name. This very small storefront restaurant serves a selection of salads and wraps for lunch. They are also open for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights.
The wraps are excellent and come with a portion of your choice of one of the fresh salads of the day. The day we visited, the selection was cole slaw, cucumber salad or a German style potato salad. We had to pass on the selection of muffins and other baked goods.
The coffee is also very good.

Our favorite place to go for lunch when we're in town. It is not the cheapest deli but they have good sandwiches and salads. Do not ask for ham and cheese. Instead they have Black Forest ham and Le Marechal a Gruyere with couscous on the side. The coffee is good also.
They are now open for dinner on Thursday and Friday nights. Check the web site for the dinner menu for the week. We have had many dinners here, most recently Oct '10. Just be sure to save room for the many great desserts! BYOW.
Favorite Dish: We always select one of the daily specials.

Visited 55 Main with a party of 8 to celebrate by son's birthday. We sampled 4 of the 6 different appetizers from the regular menu. All were presented nicely and were very tasty. My entre was a Pork Shank with was served still on a huge bone but was very meaty.
Chef Jonas trys to use local products when possible. On the other hand, at our last visit, they offered Wild Boar as a special!

This tea house is a great addition to Main Street. Enjoy a nice relaxing pot of tea on the porch overlooking the front garden and Main Street.
Hours are 11am - 5pm but are closed Monday and Tuesday
Favorite Dish: Any of the sandwiches with a pot of tea. Good selection of all varieties of tea. Small gift shop is inside.

Surprisingly good Mexican food right in Hunterdon County!
Favorite Dish: My wife and I have been here twice and were impressed both times. My wife doesn't enjoy Mexican food that much but likes that she can order dishes without the spices here. Order the Mexican soft drinks or bring your own beer/wine.
