For some reason, Flemington is home to more coffee shops than you would think for a town of it's size. There is:
Who Want's Coffee - located in Liberty Village (store # 38)
Market Roost - located on Main Street.
Flemington Coffee Shop - In a strip mall. 23 Reaville Ave.
Connections Cafe 18 Turntable Junction
During the summer months, Main Street is closed off near the Post office or near Mine Street and a band stand/trailer is set up in the middle of the street. Tables(with tablecloths) and chairs are placed in the street. Greet place to meet friends on a summer evening. Some of the restaurants offer take out so you can enjoy dinner as well. See the website below for a listing of artists. Best of all....it is free.
SHOPPING - Most people visit Flemington to shop the outlets in and around town. The most popular is the Liberty Village Outlet center. It contains Nautica, Ralph Lauren, Timberland, Tommy Hilfiger, Oshkosh,Brooks Brothers, Van Heusen, Liz Claiborn and many others. Heritage Place on Church Street has Jockey, Levi's, Reebock and Rockport
Flemington is a big outlet center for many of the major brands - Polo, Tommy Hilfiger, Carters, Brooks Brothers, Bass, etc.
Flemington is also known for Flemington Furs.
The world's biggest train display is here at Northlandz on Rt. 202, just north of Flemington. Besides the train display, there is a miniature outdoor train kids can ride on.
If you like to shop, it is a shopping mecca.
The train display is awesome and a good family activity.
