So what are all these abandoned baby carriages....

Abandoned baby carriages are something new on the streets of New Jersey. No, there has not been a rash of baby kidnappings nor is it part of some indecipherable college prank or initiation.
The homeless appear to be moving their things around in them. Before, they used the larger and sturdier shopping carts but in some areas stores are making efforts to recover their carts (average cost is several hundred dollars), and police are being asked to clean up areas that are cluttered by shopping carts. So, the homeless are switching to these smaller and more maneuverable baby carriages.
