    Always have your camera handy!

    by SURFIN7TH Written Nov 17, 2006

Luggage and bags: Keep it simple.

Make sure your camera is protected from the sand and salt air!

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Summer, Sandles and a bathing suit.

We have four seasons here. Dress warm and experience the shore in the other three and you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Most of the boardwalk stores close during the winter but you can get anything you need downtown.

Photo Equipment: Today's digital cameras let you enjoy your photos and videos instantly!

    Packing List

    1.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Cool clothes for the day, tank tops, shorts. At night it gets chilly, so bring a parka or light sweater.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Sun tan lotion, of course!

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: A lot of stuff isn't allowed on the beach during high season. Radios, frisbees, ball playing, glass bottles, and animals are among the things that are forbidden on the beach. Skateboards and rollerblades are forbidden on the boardwalk. Bike are only allowed on the boardwalk at certain times of day.
You are allowed beach umbrellas, surf boards and boogie boards (in some places), sail boats, etc.
    Sand toys for the children.

Miscellaneous: Bring your kite! Make sure if you have small children you pack a stroller because you'll be doing a lot of walking. You'll either end up carrying them or have to rent a stroller at a premium on the boardwalk.

Sand toys for the children are a must OC is perfect for flying a kite! Carry me Dad, I'm tired....!!!! Pack good shoes for walking

    Packing List

    by SURFIN7TH Written Sep 12, 2002

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Luggage and bags: Most people drive to Ocean City. You can see the procession on Saturday (move in day for most weekly rentals) It seems like people pack as much stuff as they can fit in, on, and behind their car.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Sandles and flip flops are more at home on the boardwalk than high heels! It never ever rains in Ocean City but bring foul weather gear and an umbrella just in case.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: WaWas on every corner if you forget your neccessities.

Photo Equipment: Very convenient town. Enough stores to meet your photography needs.

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: If you can't afford your own beach chairs and umbrellas, there are many places on the beach that rent them.

Miscellaneous: Don't forget your sunglasses for days like this!
