by richiecdisc Lots of great restaurants in New Jersey, check out individual city pages for details, but when we lived in Philly, we loved heading over to my Uncle Mike's in Jersey for a big family get together Sunday dinner. by Pawtuxet Didn't get the name of the little place on Main Street in Madison...but they had really good, fresh lunches and lots of folks coming in for their bagels..altho we didn't try them. Nice relaxing sit on the sidewalk where Aussie could lay in the shade and nibble on the leftovers. There are several good lunch or dinner restaurants all along the main street in Madison. Don't think you would go wrong with any of them. Leave a Comment

But sometimes I just wanted something more homemade, as Sam Gamyi would say 'if you understand what I mean'. So we went to a colombian restaurant, some rice, 'tostones', and a good damm 'churrasco' with 'ajo y perejil'. How good. It was a pity the wines weren't as good as the food, but in those days, that really didn't matter. Leave a Comment Theme: Other

In Hackensack, I used to go to an Irish Pub. Now there was good music in there and probably the best beer in the world, that is a Harp (I could not find Harp in Geronimo's). The best??? A good Hamburger and the friendship of the waiters, all Irish (Good people). I used to eat a big cheese burger with fries, but it wasn't that orange cheese americans use in everything. No it was roquefort, yummy, lol. With my cool beer, and always waiting to hear a good song. Leave a Comment Theme: Other
