Seaside Heights Restaurants

The day we went to the boardwalk the sun was blazing and the temperatures were hi. I had gone on one of the rides and found my stomach to be a dad bit upset from a combination of the heat and motion sickness. I decided that ice cream was just what I needed and in fact it was. These ice cream stands are located all over the boardwalk with each stand offering a variety of flavors. I decided to get a raspberry vanilla swirl in a cup. The flavors blended well and did just the trick to settle my post ride belly. Some other flavors I saw offered included orange cream, chocolate chip mint, vanilla/chocolate swirl, vanilla. Kohr's offers hand dipped flavors and soft serve like I had and you can choose a cup or a cone.

Favorite Dish: Raspberry Cream in a cup.

We ate there a few times during and the food was really good. You get a nice amount of food for the price and the atmosphere is pleasant.

I recommend this restaurant.

Favorite Dish: They make a delicious 5 cheese pizza. It's a white pizza but they were flexible and added sauce per my request.

The food was really good and reasonably priced. The restaurant is right on the beach with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was very professional and friendly and the location of the restaurant is right on the boardwalk.

Favorite Dish: The food is very american with hamburgers poultry dishes, hot dogs cheese steaks and French fries.

Located roadside, a hundred yards before the entrance to Island Beach State Park. Just a tasty local grill to for breakfast or lunch serviving pancakes, eggs, and subs. Indoor or cafe/parking lot seating in a small beach-town atmosphere. Where the locals in South Seaside Park hang out.

Favorite Dish: Pork roll (aka Taylor Ham, a NJ delicacy) as a sandwich or a side with eggs & pancakes.

I grew up in Jersey. I teethed on pizza crust. There is pizza sauce in my veins. My sister once shipped me a pie from 3 Brothers. They're not my #1 choice of NJ pizzerias, but not bad either. Their pies (in NJ it's a pizza PIE) run a little more expensive than some of the other pizzerias along the boardwalk (and there's one every 50 yards), but they have air-conditioned booths in the rear and are just steps from the beach at three locations.

Favorite Dish: Any variety of their pizzas and calzones. Meats, cheeses and veggies are always fresh.

Went to a few restaurants there on vacation this weekend and I don't know if it was an especially busy weekend for whatever reason,but the waitstaff at each place seemed easily overwhelmed and it took awhile to get their attention and/or the check.
