They are the official ticketing and information site for the Statue of Liberty National Monument and Ellis Island Immigration Museum. We arrived early at Battery Park from catching the subway from Broadway where our bus dropped us off. We arrived early to purchase our tickets and awaited our scheduled departure time. We purchased tickets that included both Islands.
We had a great time and enjoyed the cruise. You get some pretty breathtaking views of New York and New Jersey harbor. Well worth all the time.

There are is one way to get to see the Statue of Liberty, from one of two destinations.
You can depart from downtown Manhatten, or from New Jersey.
The boats from New Jersey are emptier.

You can get to Liberty Island from either New York or New Jersey side. In New Jersey, you can go the Liberty State Park and take a ferry for $10.00.
