Philly may be most famous for their cheesesteaks but in NJ, especially down the shore, we have cheesesteak hoagies. It's like fried chip steak with melted cheese on top but they you add lettuce, tomato, and raw onions with oil, vinegar and oregano. They are THE cure for a hangover for sure! ;)

Ocean Drive: The 40-mile stretch of coastline from Absecon Island (Atlantic City) down to Cape May Point is an example of nature at its best. A drive along this scenic highway can provide a full day of entertainment if you choose to go slowly and really appreciate the remarkable work that nature has performed. Countless islands and a family of bridges operated and maintained by the Cape May Bridge Commission provides the link for you to enjoy the change of pace entertainment experience. Bridge tolls are a modest 50 cents per car and tickets may be purchased at any toll booth which are good for all bridges. This is truly a drive worth taking!

Frozen custard is a dairy treat that was developed by Archie Kohr back in the late 1800's and was first available on the boardwalk in Coney Island, but soon spread to all the boardwalks at the Jersey Shore. The real secret is the addtion of egg yolks that gives it a super creamy texture. When on the boards, do drop by Kohr Bros.
