    Packing List

Luggage and bags: In addition to your regular luggage, bring a small comfortable day backpack for one member of your family to carry everyone’s stuff. Don’t forget that you will be walking quite a lot- of course you don’t want to forget anything, but you also do not want to pack so much that you are bogged down. If plan to ride a roller coaster, you can’t take your bags with you! Hopefully someone if your party won’t want to ride and they can hold your stuff. But also consider that chances are you will have to park so far away you will not be able to return to your car for forgotten items. You need to give some real thought as to what you really want to bring for you day on the beach and the Boardwalk. Plan ahead!

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Bring a light parka or windbreaker, it gets chilly at night. Sunglasses and/or hat is a common sense idea. See my warnings and dangers tip about the importance of good sandals.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: What you would usually bring

Photo Equipment: Bring your own film. It's very expensive at the shore.

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Pack items such as towels, sun tan lotion, beach toys for the children, flotation devices, etc. Although all these items are readily available for sale, they are sold at a real premium. Other items you might find useful are a beach umbrella with carrying bag, compact (easy to carry) beach chairs, sports/water drink bottles you won’t be upset if you lose, a waterproof wearable container for your money (usually worn on the neck at waterparks), a stretchy keychain for your wrist for your room key.

Miscellaneous: Bike, bike lock, surfboard, boogieboard

Jansport is a good quality day backpack

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Mosquito Repellent, antibacterial wipes, and tissue (at all times) just in case you get dumped on by one of those sea gulls while your on the boardwalk.

Photo Equipment: Make sure to bring your waterproof camera for great shot while on the beach and in the ocean.

Miscellaneous: Remember to bring the boogie board.

Luggage and bags: Dont bring too many bags-if you can bring one big one you're sorted. Theres a lot of lugging aroung trying to get from New York to the final destination,ie. youre new home in wildwood!! And the heat wont help matters any!

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Dont do like I did, and assume therell be great shops to buy summer clothes bikinis and stuff-there isnt. Bring loadsa shorts, small tops ets. But bring lots of going out clothes too. Towards the end of the summer can get cool so bring one or two pairs of jeans. Every so often theres a MASSIVE downpour of rain so maybe a light coat or something. DOnt wast valuable space shoving in jumpers and sweaters-you wont ear them.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: If I had one piece of advice to any student going to ww for the summer it would be : bring as much shampoos sunscreens shower gels razors etc as u can because you wont be able to afford them over there. Its simple as that, its not that there THAT expensive its that between nightlife and general living you wont have the cash.

Photo Equipment: Bring a camera-again you wont have enough money to buy one

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Don't forget to bring a Frisbee, Wildwood's beach is great for that. As you can see, I've been playing for a long time..... here's me with my little brother Bob.
