Wildwood is full of tourist junk. All I can say is if you go to Wildwood, resist the urge to buy that sea-shell windchime (it's not made by natives-- it's made in China). Oh, and I can really see that you 'need' that mug with 'Wildwood' on it, when you've already got 6.000 mugs you don't use already. And really, what does a psychadelic Jimi Hendrix poster or a shirt that says "kiss me I'm Italian" have to do with the beach? Come on now. Do you really need another giant pink stuffed elephant- where the heck are you going to put it? That's the kind of stuff that is all over the boardwalk.
Unique Suggestions: If you are going to buy tourist kitsch, buy stuff that at least says "Wildwood" on it! There's t-shirts, hats, towels, magnets, postcards, etc.
Fun Alternatives: Save your money for ride passes, food and excursions, don't be tempted by all the junk 'made in china' for sale on the Boardwalk. Seek out Jersey shore originals, such as the Fudge Kitchen, Fralingers, Pauls Idaho Potato French Fries and enjoy the rides. There's also the chance to something kind fun like get a henna "tattoo" or get something pierced (it's safe and well regulated in NJ). Also very popular is getting a shirt or picture airbrushed by a local artist.

The helicopter ride... 25$ for a 4 minute ride over the beach. I would advise you not to blink while on board or you may miss half the ride!

This is one of the newer 'rides' on Morey's Pier. At $75 a pop, it's a bit of a trap, and this poor bloke seems up in the air about the whole thing.
