Wish I knew the history behind this old wagon. It was parked down the street from my house. I could not resist a photo opportunity with such an old vs. new contrast. How times can change. Actually the name of this street is Stagecoach Road. I wonder if this wagon traveled along the old stagecoach route through Tijeras Canyon in the past.

Rapid Ride is a newer service that was started in 2004. It's route covers, Nob Hill, Downtown, Old Town, International Market, the State Fairgrounds and much more. That isn't all though. Each bus is equipped with high speed wireless internet! There are children's books on board as well for kids to read and newspapers are available for sale too. All that and the fare is still $1. Also if you are planning a long night out on the weekend, Rapid Ride operates until 3 am every Friday and Saturday night from Memorial Day Weekend until Labor Day Weekend.
