    A nice drive ...

Wandering into Corrales, and around it is a wonderful diversion in the day. There are little businesses, critters galore, water and greenery - a few things you don't usually find in Albuquerque proper.

You cut over from I-25 on either Paseo del Norte or Alameda and head north on Coors/Corrales rd. You'll see the village sign as you enter ..... and feel the air change in the process. It doesn't matter if you arrive via a four wheeled or two wheeled conveyance - just take the time to visit :)

    Grab a bike and RIDE!!!

A fancy bike, or a run down bike will serve you well out here. Though be aware, the best riding spots are dirt :) You can bring one up w/ you, or ride yours up .. there are a lot of trails to take to eplore this region on your own time, and at your own pace.

So take a day, or part of a day and just wander about ;)
