Best Western Kachina Lodge: Best Western Kachina Lodge

To be honest, the steak I had was not that very good. They didn't even leave butter for my baked potato. One of the rare disaster of a meal that I had. Do yourself a favor and go downtown for dinner. The breakfast buffet here wasn't that very good either. Either I picked the wrong time to be here or someone needs a lesson on food quality.

We just went into a resraurant because we were hungry and had some local food, it was great.
Unfortunatly i don't remember the name but you're spoilt for choice , look around or ask anybody local and they point out where to get good food.

  • Out Back Pizza has great food...

Out Back Pizza has great food and the ecletic group of people that work and patronize it are fun to observe. The building nearest the road used to be a video rental and they started a tiny pizza joint 'out back'. The video store is kaput but the restaurant has expanded intables and menu items.

It's authenticity. According to my guide book the owner spent months researching traditional recipes before opening the restaurant.

Favorite Dish: Chili, refried beans and all the other good Mexican dishes. Washed down with a Corona of course.

    The crusts are hand made.

This little gem is a laid back kind of coffee shop with some outside tables as well as indoors.

Favorite Dish: I could not resist the ice cream here--I tried the Lavender flavor and it was scrumptious.

We really wanted to give this place a try when we visited here but at the time it was too crowded and we were too hungry to wait...

Favorite Dish: We would have tried this place if we had come back another day.
