    Hwy 209 to Tucumcari

by runningwilder Written Aug 2, 2008

Driving from Roswell to Tucumcari if you take some back roads you will go through some incredible mesa lands. Hwy 209 south of Tucumcari (goes through Quay) is part of a spectacular drive that takes you right past the mountain Tucumcari for one of the better photo ops of it. There's a pull off with a historical marker. I will have to dig and look for some of the photos we took to scan here.
