    A big spacious diner with checkered tiles, vintage artwork and furniture . A new cutting edge menu. No greasy food and limited selections. Cup, has fresh salads and gourmet daily specials. You can still have all the classics but with good fresh ingredients. With a huge bar in the middle of the place serving up beers on tap and cocktails it's a great place to start out on a Friday night before hitting the nightlife or post nightlife. They also have a espresso bar with fresh pastries like zuchinni bread muffins. I had the Quiche with a green salad, and lemonade for $8 plus tip.
    Across the street is the Museum of the Moving Image, I went there in the morning then ate lunch at "Cup"
    This place is open 24 hours

    Had a good Turkey Burger with French Fries.

    This place has been around a long time and the owner Ali Al Sayed has a good thing going it has a friendly family feeling and very tasty food. I tried to talk to him about Egypt but he would have nothing to do with that. He said if I want to talk about Egypt I would have stayed there -- New York now that is a city to talk about. Spoken like a true New Yorker

    The Lamb slow slow cooked in tomatoes is really to die for it is so tender it falls of the bone and is very tasty.

  • Omonia is a cafe in Astoria, Queens. It specializes in coffee and pastries. I have always gone on a Friday or Saturday night and enjoyed it.

    Frappe or Greek coffee to drink. Choose from any of the desserts and pastries, I haven't had anything here I don't enjoy.

  • Stamatis is a fixture for Greek food in Astoria. The food is very authentic and tastes great.

    It is open 11 AM - 1 AM. Dress is casual.

    Calamari, Moussaka, Baccaliaro, and the appetizers are great.

    Anything seafood is good here. It is so fresh you will think it was caught that day.

  • love the food here , Have grilled octupus, saganaki and a whole grilled fish desert is on the house weekdays,, Fried dough in honey.
    Telly's is a place you go and feel at home ,, EXCELENT!!!!

    tHE gREEN SALAD IS PHENOMINAL! gRILLED OCTOPUS LIKE NO OTHER. tHE FISH IS SO FRESH YOUD THINK THE CAUGHT IT WHILE YOU WERE HAVING YOUR SALAD.
