Hickory Ridge is a pleasant surprise out in the rural area of route 104 between Hollet and Albion. It is a challenging course with narrow fairways and strategically placed wter hazards.
Fairways are normally lined with thick growth of trees. Greens and fairways are bent grass and can run fast during the dry summer periods.

The course plays about 6000 yards on average so it is not exceptionally long. Hitting power shots is not the way to do well on this course because you will end up in difficult placement for your next shot. Much better to control your shots and take three to get to the green than to hack away at a ball in the deep rough and get more strokes added to your game.

Course fees are $20 to $30 for 18 holes and a cart, depending on age, time of day and day of week. A bucket of balls at the driving range can cost between $5 and $10.

There is a pro shop where you can get equipment and clothing or have your clubs repaired.
The snack shop is attached to the pro shop and overs beverages and finger foods to refuel you after you time on the course.
