Park Slope, Brooklyn
Loki is a fairly low-key place with a long bar at the front and many couches and "coffee tables" in the back. It can seem swank or seedy, depending on your mood. It used to get really smoky - unless you went very early.
Dress Code: Whatever you like...it depends if it's a first date or a group of buddies.
This is a funky spot to stop by before/after a movie or just to get a bite or a drink. It has a fantastic array of furniture and is arranged to allow for SOME privacy. Very cool. Try to get a seat by the windows overlooking Prospect Park. Sadly, they no longer have tea-time.
Try the crepes or the sandwiches...it's more for the location and comfortable atmosphere.
