This small restaurant is one of the best finds in Brooklyn. Off the beaten path and a block away from Brooklyn Animal Recuse Coalition (BARC), the chef continues to serve up tradiational yet innovative dishes that can nearly bring me to tears.
Most of the pastas are made from scrath on location and you bet your sweet a%^ everything else is.
Favorite Dish: I really love everything on this menu that I've tried, but if I had to choose, it would be:
Pappardelle al Sugo d’Anatra
home-made wide cut pasta with duck ragout- 13.95
also try as an app:
Carciofi Arrosto al Limone e Menta
whole roasted artichokes with lemon, fine herbs salad,
shaved pecorino & pink peppercorn vinaigrette-6.95
I have frequented this spot being that for Italian on this side of the east river, this honey packs the best punch. I tend to make it for brunch moreso than dinner but have had dinner a handful of times. All the waitstaff have the Italian accent and the food shows that there is motherland in the cooks hand. You will not be unhappy with this pick.
Sidenote: Their garden is on point! (pictured)
