The Brooklyn Heights Promenade became a favortie place for me to take that special someone. I didn't visit the Promenade even though I lived in Brooklyn until after I was dating my then to be husband. It's a beatiful promenade where you can just sit and watch the sunset over NYC.

Before the World Trade Towers came down, this was the place to come and see the majectic buildings rising above NYC. The views of the Brooklyn Bridge, downtown NYC and Pier 17 are spectacular. You can also glimpse our lady holding the torch, the Statue of Liberty as well as Governor's Island.

It's always wonderful when I can spend some quality time with Ferni and the Brooklyn Promenade was a wonderful place to be with him. Just walking around the wonderful neighborhood on a beautiful day, stopping to sit on a bench and looking over to the NYC skyline especially during sunset, is a wonderful way to spend time with that special loved one!

One of the most visited areas of Brooklyn is the Heights Promenade. Couples come to gaze at the skyline, lunch-time adventures appear to eat and relax, parents take children to toddle about, dogs take their owners so they can sniff other dogs...you'll see everything here. It's lovely during the day and stunning at night.

The Manhattan skyline is best seen from Brooklyn

Go down to the promenade and check out the people and views of the city. There were at least 3 wedding parties there taking photos and 1 lucky yankee fan.

Life is good for this Yankee fan.
