Another car service for Brooklyn, but this one is based in Williamsburg. They are usually very quick and will take you wherever you want to go. A ride into the city is short and not too expensive as long as you aren't going really far. If you have a group of people, why drop $2 a person to ride the subway when you can drop $3 or $4 and go anywhere you want in the Lower East Side or East Village area.

Sometimes you just have to take a car as the subway won't do. Arecibo is king in the Park Slope area. Give them a ring and they should be to you within five minutes. Expect longer waits on the weekends, especially late at night when all the people who are out are trying to get around.
Oh yes. Don't be surprised if you get rather "speedy" service shall we say, once you are in the car.

It's really hard to get a cab in Brooklyn, but, you can get a car service anytime, and they will take you anywhere. They are usually pretty fair, but always ask how much it's going to be when you first get in the car. A good estimate is that anywhere local should be from $4-6, trips from Brooklyn to Manhattan will run about $12, and airport trips are fixed at $18 to LGA and $28 to JFK.
