The Airport is off Genesee Street on the East side of the city. The planes will be landing and taking off around yu as you drive on the I-90. Buffalo renovated this airport just a couple of years ago and did a fantastic job with it. We recently flew to Florida and could not beleive how nice the airport looked. Plenty of parking in and around the airport. All the major US airlines are serviced through here. Leave a Comment Theme: Airplane

Visitors to Niagara Falls should use the Buffalo IA as their destination. It is also the alternative airport to arrive at when planning to visit Southern Ontario, Canada. Flying in and out of BUF is much cheaper than YYZ when flying around the US. And Toronto is only 1½ hour drive away. Leave a Comment

MetroRail. This is a free, above ground train that runs on the Main Street area. Great way to get from HSBC Arena or Dunn Tire Park back to the bars. Trains run a average of every 5-20 minutes. Once the train goes underground, you are on the pay end of it. The train runs out to the South Campus of UB. Leave a Comment Theme: Train

Car travel is fairly easy in this area.Right in Niagara Falls a bike might make for a pleasant touring mode, but most of the falls viewing can easily be done on foot. Theme: Car/Motor Home

If you are from another country the easiest way to get to Buffalo is by Air. The Buffalo/Niagara International Aiport is BRAND NEW and gleaming! It is the gateway to the Niagara Frontier and so it showcases the area extremely well. If driving, the area is host to several interstates. If arriving by rail, the rail station is served by Amtrak. Buffalo actually has superb infrastructure. The city's roads were designed to handle the traffic for 2 million people. But since there is a little over a million, the roads aren't overly busy. Interstate 90 runs east to west and I-190 is a toll road that takes you downtown and to Canada. RT 33 is a 4-lane and takes you to the airport and downtown and I-290(Youngman Expy) circles the city to the north. Rt 198 or the Scajaquada Expy runs north and extends like and arc from Rt 33 and hooks up with I-190 just north of Peace Bridge. The I-990 leads to UB. The roads(like most of the state) are in excellent condition. Traffic flows smoothly, so you will have no troubles. Leave a Comment Theme: Other

by KaljaMaha I was surprised to find trams from Buffalo, which makes the city look quite European. Theme: Train

Driving around Buffalo is a breaze. The highways are all over the place and you can get around easily. Look out during the winter when the weather can get nasty and the roads get heavily snowed upon. Generally, drving in Buffalo is good. Leave a Comment Theme: Car/Motor Home
