This is not A shop... it is a shopping mall. Perhaps a little more upscale than some people wish to go to, but for that reason, it can just be a great place to look around, and think of it as a modern-day museum of consumer gluttony! Personally, I don't think that you would need it, or want it, if you can't find it at Walden's Galleria!! I've enjoyed going just to check out the shops and then trying to decide what to eat in the food court, or one of the restaurants.
There are over 200 shops here.

Shopping by Wolverine_13 Most of the large shopping malls in Buffalo are located in the SUBURBS areas (about 20 mins drive on freeways from downtown buffalo) Leave a Comment Theme: Department Store

The Elmwood stip is Buffalo's answer to Soho. There are numerous shops, boutiques and cafes down this street. You can find everything from gifts, trendy clothing, sophisticated clothing, garden supplies, pet supplies to a food cooperative. When in Buffalo, skip the malls in suburbia and come to Elmwood Avenue.

Build-a-Bear lets you do just that - build your own teddy bear. You select the type you want from at least a dozen different colours and types - including a koala, some dogs and cats. You can put a sound inside it - even create your own sound. Next step is the stuffing - this involves not just getting the stuffing material, but adding a heart AFTER you rub it between your hands, rub it on your heart, on your ear, and then turn around - and you get to say how much stuffing should be in your new friend. There is another step of blowing off the excess fluff. After that you stop at the computer and make up a birth certificate for your toy. Now, if you want to really splurge there are all sorts of clothes you can get for your bear - lots of Halloween costumes out now. After that, you pay for it! They do birthday parties here - they had one going on while we were there, and the kids were having a ball. It is just a really fun place to be.
Of course - a bear. I "adopted" a Koala, whom I unoriginally named Sydney.
Anywhere from $12-22US for a naked, no sound bear. I believe you can spend well upwards of $80US for some of the very special bears in fancy dress.
