This beautiful golf club features a championship course, a short course and a driving range.
The Champinship course is beyond my abilities but you can read about it in the website below.
Fees are upto $30 depending on day and time.
The Short Course is a nice challenge for the medium skilled golfer. The ponds and traps are well placed to catch errant balls yet the fairways are wide and well kept. The greens only have a few undulations and are barbered nicely. Rates on the short course are about half of those of the championship rounds.
Take some time out of your vacation schedule to hit a few balls.
This park is a nicely un-urbanized park that has some nice birding and hiking trails. There are wide paths for horse back riding in summer and ski-walking in winter. Fishing is allowed in the pond and Black Creek. (see the website below for trail descriptions or try http://www.footprintpress.com/TAHrochester2/blackcreek.htm).
The park is bounded by route 33A (Chili Avenue on the north and west), by route 259 (Union Street) on the east and by Morgan Road and Green Road on the south.
Facilities in the park include two rentable covered pavilions, picnic tables with grill-stands, playground, ball field and full restrooms near the parking loops.
