    Wright Park

Dunkirk has several of these little parks tucked away along the lake front.

Wright Park is bounded on north-south by Lake Front Blvd and Pine Street and on east-west by Wright Park Drive and Serval Street. It has a couple of walking/biking paths, a kids playground, a ballfield, plenty of parking and a view of Lake Erie. There are a few picnic tables (I don't remember any grills).

A nice place to stop and relax on your summer visit to Dunkirk.

(They have added a water treatment plant to one end of the park which reduces its attractiveness a bit.)

There are real nice Church's to get married in. This was my Brother and his wife going to reception after wedding. It was a big attraction with many people on the side of the street to see the Horse and Buggy.

Dunkirk Harbor is a stop for Canadian Geese and Sea Gulls. This is a place to feed them in the winter months.
