This is a sandwich shop that promotes "healthy sandwiches". The sandwiches are made fresh from meat or tuna selections you choose and put on a chewy long bun with lettuce, cheese, onions and condiments.
It is counter service in a store that has small tables for limited number of sit-down customers. Most of the business is carry-out.
It is diner decor with advertisements and posters on the wall. The place was bright and clean. The service was fast even though there were quite a few people in there for lunch meals.
We grabbed a quick sandwich to eat before our visit to Woodlawn Cemetery.
It was okay (but niot as good as the DiBella submarines we have in Rochester).
The price was reasonable but I thought the portions of meat were a bit skimpy (but probably good for my diet anyways).
see the website below for full menu.
This place has the best carrot cake I've ever had! This is a mixed bakery and diner/coffee shop so you can either sit and eat, or take the goodies away!
Prices are reasonable, service is quick.
Favorite Dish: All their food is good - expect normal diner sorts of food and a wide variety of freshly make baked goods (you can watch them making the cakes, donuts, etc!)
We used to go here a lot because it was within easy walking distance from the college and the price was decent. The food was pretty much your typical Chinese food - good, but nothing spectacular. Service was good, price was good.
A true tavern with the best chicken wings in Chemung County. Also, if you are hungry (and I mean HUNGRY) try thr Masters. You get a huge filet with a salad and fries for about 18 bucks. You can't beat it!
No reservations allowed. Place your order at the bar.
