This park has some great paved paths for walking and biking. You can get about 2 miles by hitting each loop. Like many of the paths in the area, there is a caution. Crimes have been committed on lone joggers, so do not use this park without a companion.
The path is well-used by kids on bikes and people walking their dogs, so be aware of "obstacles". It is way too busy to be any good for birding. About the only thing you see are a few migratory ducks and geese that temporarily land on the pond.
You can park in the elementary school parking lot or in the small parking area on Sylvan Parkway.
to get there:
it is right on the Audubon Parkway
from Getzville: just take route 270 south to North Forest Road and go west to Audubon Parkway and then jog north one block
from I-990: get off at exit 3 and go south a quarter-mile on Audubon Parkway and find Sylvan Parkway. the park is right at that corner.
