    areas in Greece

Greece like any other large town tends to segment itself along invisible lines called neighborhoods. The exact boundaries are fuzzy and change over time but people in those areas know which neighborhoods they live.

    Greece neighborhoods are:

Barnard... where I once lived; near Maiden Lane and Dewey Avenue

    Braddock Bay...
    Braddock Heights.... http://members.virtualtourist.com/m/d6398/cc7dd/
    Crescent Beach... http://members.virtualtourist.com/m/d6398/ccad2/
Elmgrove... industrial-based area along the Elmgrove Road and I-490

Grandview... north of Greece between Long Pond Road and Lowden Point Road

Ridgemont... the old center of the town of Greece; the Ridge Road mall area of Greece

The Street Machines club of Rochester has an annual car show in the second week of June.
This year (2007) it was at Badgerow Park in Greece on 11June. There were 100-120 cars there of all different vintages and modification level. Everyone was trying to show-off his or her best features (engine, exhaust, chrome, interior, color scheme.)

See the website below for the next scheduled car meet. And we'll see you there.
