This is like a large indoor flea market. Over 200 artisans and antique vendors have individual displays and booths in this building. You'll find paintings and scupltures from local talent. Jewelry (newly crafted and also used); furniture from simple book stands to dining sets, some hand-crafted and others refurbished antiques; candles and quilts, candies and baked goods; hand-sewn clothing, bedding and linen; toys, big and small; books, both hard bound and soft and many for children. My wife takes her mom and aunt her often and they spend a good three to four hours and then go get a bite to eat at the local restaurant. The owners also provide special in-store events like doll-making demonstrations, learn how to knit and crochet, a garden show, how to appraise antiques and many more (see the website for the full list). the store's motto is "If we don't have it then you don't need it" Theme: AntiquesAddress: 3200 West Ridge RoadWebsite: http://www.craftantiqueco-op.com/

 | | | | Mall at Greece Ridge Center: from many .... one.... | | | | | |
Greece is a town of malls. There is one strip of Ridge Road West where there were eight (count 'em, eight) malls within a 3-mile stretch. Two of the larger malls were actually within one hundred feet of each other, so several years ago Greece Town Mall and Longridge Mall bought the land between and built an extension that connected the two into one huge mall. They named it Greece Ridge Mall and last year they changed it to the fancy name of The Mall at Greece Ridge Center. At last count there were 84 stores and 9 eateries and an eight-film theater. My wife goes there for the day (and leaves me to play with the computer in peace). You have your big names stores like Macys, Sears. Zales, Bon-Ton, Target, Old Navy, Burlington. And you have some local favorites: Spencers, Claires, Dicks, Abbotts.
