Fondest memory: Having breakfast on a Memorial Day in Greenport I found myself on a Main street looking at people who waited for the Memorial Day parade. Although I am not a big fan of parades, I decided to stay and watch. It wasn’t long – only 30 minutes or so. I made plenty of photographs and saw a lot of local people: both – watching and participating in the parade.
Favorite thing: Visit Pair of Paws. This is the store my sister owns. She sells jewelry, neclaces, many beads, and fimo products. Since I helped her move down there, I have visited two other times. She is located on East Front Street near the Wharf. She is struggling like everybody else in this economy so visit her shop and tell her Keith sent you! She will really appreciate the business. She can also tell good places to hang out that are not buried with tourists.
Favorite thing: Main street would be the one to see first. Nice little stores with fancy clothes. Some of them very original, but expensive.
