    course overview

by davecallahan Updated Dec 31, 2007

This is a nine-hole executive course that lets you get a little exercise during your busy vacation schedule.

The venue was built in 1993 from local farmlands. It is open from April to October and never very busy (so you do not need to call ahead for tee times but you can if you wish...just use the phone number below).

The rye fairways are bordered by fescue roughs and lead to bent grass greens that are fairly small and mounded (good for two-putting). It is a pretty little course with not too many trees so you can get a nice panoramic view of the countryside. The layout features two water holes and several changes of elevation to put a small amount of difficulty into an otherwise easy course.

The cost per round is $12. And they have clubs for rent if you did not pack yours in the trunk.

There is a small snack shop where you can get a cold drink and some finger food. A new restaurant was in the making and should be open soon.
