You can take the Beeline Bus #20 & 21 to Hartsdale. Here is a #20 & 21 bus stop. You can read the shedule for the entire week. Also providing holiday shedules and dates with no service. There is a map on the backside detailing the route of the bus. This bus charges $1.75 each way. You can purchase 10 trip tickets and monthly tickets at select locations. The website like I have provided can tell you where to order. There is also bus route maps for other buses with time shedules.

The fastest way from Manhattan to get to Hartsdale is by Metro North Harlem Line Train. From Grand Central Station is about 45 minutes.

There are 2 shedules. One for weekdays & one for weekends. Make you check the day you are traveling. Also the shedules are available at Grand Central Station at the information booth & in the Hartsdale Metro North Train Station. Remember to by tickets at the electric ticket machines. Tickets on the train are 3 times more expensive. These machines are located at every Metro North Train station.

Trader Joe's is a favorite grocery store of my girlfriend. She loves the fresh produce and organic selections. We are often in the area and I don't mind stopping in for some groceries.

What to buy: Liz is a big fan of their cheeses, cookies, olive oil and prouce. We were just here today and picked up some Boston lettuce, Danish Bleu Cheese, Non-fat yogurt and pumpkin bread mix (she already made the bread and it's incredible).

Favorite thing: Hartsdale is a small quiet town. Right before White Plains and about 25 minutes by Metro North Train from the Bronx. There are many places to eat & shop. Major stores like Best Buy & food places like Mcdonalds, Chinese Restaurants, Jewish & Italian Delis.

You can take a Bee Line buse from the Bronx costing $1.75 but the Metro North Train is faster for $2.75.
