The original course here began in the mid-1950s and they have made some recent improvements.

It is a mid-length course that plays about 6600 yards for 18 holes at a cost of $30 (icluding a cart, which is recommended). The fairways are bent grass; the rough is fescue and rye; the greens are unusual for the area, being that they are blue grass rather than the usual bent grass.
Wide open fairways with few obstructions; a few water hazards in the form of a stream and a pond but nothing dramatic; only a few bunkers and sand traps. It is a good course for beginner to intermediate players where you can get a good workout without too much frustration. There are only two holes with any elevation changes and one dogleg so club selection is not difficult.
