Bob Evans Restaurant: Roy and Dale would be proud...

by davecallahan Written Apr 24, 2007

    2 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

This is an American breakfast-lunch-dinner restaurant chain. They are very good at making people comfortable even when the place is very busy. The menu is huge and I won't copy it here.... see the wbsite below for its details. The portions are filling and the price is very reasonable.

When we go traveling, Bob Evans and Applebees are two of our favorite choices if they are in the area.
And this particular Bob Evans was no different than others we have tried. Good food, Good service, Friendly staff, Clean place (even in the bathrooms).

  • Who can name just one great...

Who can name just one great palce to grubb in Jamestown. Of course, there is Johnny's Lunch Texas Hots, which I love, BUT, given a choice, I would choose Lena's Pizza. They have the best Pizza in ther Jamestown metro, and pretty decent wings. If you love Pizza, this place is a 'must'.
The best sauce, the most cheese, and the perfect crust!

    Favorite Dish: PIZZA...duh

  • Lena's Pizza: where NOT to go in Jamestown for pizza / wings

by steelersmantim Written Jun 20, 2009

Lena's pizza is GOOD for this area , highly overrated however and sorely lacking in customer service skills . I have had 2 bad experiences with Lena's and will no longer be a customer . The Cherry Lounge has much better wings and for pizza I will be going to Tasta Pizza in Falconer which actually delivers and is NOT RUDE to customers ! I won't recommend Lena's to anyone ever .

    The Italian Fisherman: Lakeside Restaurant

by Allikatac Written Mar 17, 2003

The Italian Fisherman offers a wide variety of foods and is located on the edge of the lake so you have a beautiful view while enjoying your dinner. Many evenings entertainment is also taking place on their stage. I recommend this restaurant if you want a casual restaurant to eat at.

    The Casino: The Casino

by Allikatac Written Mar 27, 2003

The restaurant can be seen in the picture on my home page of Jamestown. It's the big blue building right on the shoreline. The restaurant has a beautiful view and is positioned right next to the ferry that you can take across the lake with your car. Also, if your out for a day of boating there is docking space if you get a little hungry. The casino is a laid back restaurant that offers pizza, wings, and items along those lines. There is a small aracade on the first floor and a large ballroom upstairs that can be rented out.

Favorite Dish: If you're going to stop here I suggest going on a sunday evening which is their cheap wing night.
