Much more relaxed setting. Wood interior, large bar, a place to sit, relax and eat and drink. They also brew their own beers here so be sure to give one of those a try.
Dress Code: Casual, in fact when a went the bartender was in full punk garb, she was the most casual in the place by far
Nice place to go and hang out. the bartenders there are great and have terrific personalities. The place is pretty big, esp. for the area it's in, Main Street, Lake Placid is pretty jam-packed. The only thing we weren't happy with was the DJ. He seemed more interested in spinning for himself rather then the patrons. We all went up and request some 'real' dance music and he was rather arrogant and snotty, like we was bothering him instead of realizing he is there to DJ for the patrons, NOT himself. Didn't play the music either...
Other then that, the place was great and had some great decor as well. Def. hit this place when you go to LP, it's fun!
Dress Code: Causal
I can't remember the name of the bar, but it was a mexican themed bar/restaurant on the edge of Lake Placid going to Saranac Lake. We ordered the happy hour beer and wings. The beer was cold and the wings were HOT!. I guess they don't really have a medium in Mexico. The bartender was awesome and was cool to chat with.
Dress Code: There was no dress code.
