The best method to get to Lake View Terrace is by car. Typically one would take I-86 to exit 26 in Olean or exit 28 in Cuba. From the Cuba area you would then go south on route 305 to connect to route 6 (Haskell Road) and head west until you hit Lake View Terrace. From the Olean side, take route 16 (Union Street) south to route 417 (State Street). Then go east on route 417 to connect to route 27 (Haskell Road) and go east to Lake View Terrace.
All of these primary roads are well kept up in all weather conditions and should not be difficult to find or use (speed limits are 55mph unless otherwise posted.... like in residential areas where it drops to 30mph).

There are only a few secondary roads and farm roads in the area and those are kept clear except in blizzard season when they may have snow drifts.

If you need a car, Enterprise (2101 West State Street, 716-373-2100) in Olean is fairly close.
Greyhound has a subsidiary company that services the area with commercial transportation (Primo, 301 South Union Street, 800-454-2487) and it is open 9am to 5pm on weekdays only.
